Butterfly Mandala Frame Workshop : Wings in Symmerty

Turn real butterfly wings into a colourful work of art created entirely by hand. This workshop invites you to slow down, observe the tiny details found in nature, and transform preserved butterfly and moth wings into a beautifully balanced design.

You will explore a varied selection of ethically sourced wings, each with its own colours, markings and natural imperfections. With guided instruction, you will arrange your chosen wings into a symmetrical kaleidoscope pattern inside a 15 × 15 cm display frame. A preserved butterfly will then be placed at the centre to complete your one-of-a-kind composition.

The creative process is gentle, absorbing and surprisingly relaxing—like combining a puzzle with mindful art-making. Surrounded by the studio’s collection of natural curiosities, you will have plenty of inspiration as your design gradually comes together.
